The Meeting of the Leaves: Exploring Latin America

TEA LOVERS AND BIBLIOPHILES UNITE!

Welcome to the second iteration of our popular [virtual] tea lover's book club: The Meeting of Leaves - Exploring Latin America! Designed to bring people together to connect high-quality tea to the lands and cultures we read about, this tea lover's book club aims to engage.

When you join The Meeting of Leaves as a member, you will receive an email that welcomes you and provides clear information to set you up for success.

Kicking off in September 2021, you have the option to join the fun for 4 months or 6 months and your registration automatically will provide you with great tea samplers to go with each of our book titles.  You also have the option to add on some fabulous tea-related goodies, including an Indigenous artist-designed teacup that is linked to a theme in one of our books!

Please note that your chosen kit will ship on September 13th.

A few added notes:

  • You will participate in (4 or 6) 1.5-hour facilitated book club meetings - we have so much fun!
  • You will be invited to participate in between meetings in a members' Facebook group; you do not have to participate in this group, but there may be a surprise or two in there along the way (and it has proven to be a wonderful way to connect with each other)
  • Please note that members are responsible to acquire book club titles on their own (many borrow from the library, or listen to audiobooks!)

Who is this virtual tea and book club for?

Do you like great tea? Books? Connecting with people and having fun? Learning? If so, this tea and book club is for you.

Why Should I Participate?

We've created this virtual experience to bring people together in a meaningful way. By participating you will be trying something different, meeting new people, supporting your local community...not to mention tasting amazing tea!
